In the present capitalist world where the greed for achieving more and more wealth is increasing among the masses, there has been the vacuum of contentment and tranquillity. Islam is the religion that provides a balanced approach in this regard. It guides its followers in adhering strictly to the religious injunctions in all spheres of life in order to achieve the pleasure of Allah and thereby get blessed with contentment and blissful life both in the mundane world and the hereafter. The present paper aims at describing the positive relationship between religiosity and contentment in Islam and analytical and descriptive methodology has been used for the same.
