This paper aims to investigate the sociological implications of the digital divide concerning access to information and its impact on social inequality. With the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation, digital technologies have become increasingly central to various aspects of life, including education, employment, and civic engagement. However, unequal access to these technologies exacerbates existing social disparities, leading to potential consequences based on socioeconomic status, race, gender, and geographic location. This study seeks to understand the relationship between the digital divide and social inequality, focusing on how these factors interact and influence access to information in the contemporary digital era.
