Abstract

Pandey Bechan Sharma 'Ugra', representative of the Signature multidimensional art of Hindi literature, had a bitter experience of the country's subjugation, independence, communalism, serious social evils like sexual problems, evil practices, stereotypes and party politics of the country. You have used your writing in all genres of literature and your language style is rich and effective with accuracy. You accepted the multidimensional nature of the era in which you lived as per your understanding. The realization of the times is achieved only when the current progress and tradition are coordinated and a new direction is given to the society. हिन्दी साहित्य की बहुआयामी कला के प्रतिनिधि हस्ताक्षर पाण्डेय बेचन शर्मा ‘उग्र‘ ने देश की पराधीनता, स्वाधीनता, साम्प्रदायिकता, गंभीर सामाजिक बुराइयाँ जैसे- यौन समस्याएँ, कुरीतियाँ, रूढ़ियाँ एवं देश की दलगत राजनीति का कटु अनुभव किया। आपने साहित्य की सभी विधाओं में अपनी लेखनी चलाई तथा आपकी भाषा-शैली यथार्थता से युक्त समृद्व एवं प्रभावोत्पादक है। आप जिस युग में रहे उसके बहुआयामी स्वरूप को अपने बोध के अनुसार ग्रहण किया। युगबोध तभी पूर्णता को प्राप्त होता है जब वर्तमान प्रगति और परम्परा दोनांे का समन्वय स्थापित कर समाज को नई दिशा दें। प्रत्येक समाज का अपना बोध होता है और वह बोध मान्यताओं को अस्वीेकार और कुछ सीमा तक स्वीकार करता है।
