Abstract

This paper examines how identity formation in an age of change and uncertainty influenced Sukumar Ray’s writings in the children’s periodical Sandesh. Ray's exploration of individual, cultural, and national identities reveal the complexities of navigating through a colonised society with conflicting power dynamics.
