Investigating the Impact of TPACK on Life Skills Development in Pre-Service Teachers

This research seeks to understand the level of knowledge and skill in the area of information and communication technology (ICT) among preservice teachers currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education degree. Eighty individuals were selected using an intentional selection strategy to guarantee that the sample was representative. First, everyone in the population took a PC screening test, and then they were divided into three groups: good, moderate, and bad. We ensured that all participants held a similar degree of ICT experience by drawing entirely from the moderate category in the final sample, which allowed us to control for heterogeneity in ICT knowledge. In order to shed light on issues related to teacher preparation and the incorporation of technology into educational practices, this approach permits a targeted evaluation of ICT capabilities within a group of students with similar levels of proficiency.
