Abstract

This study looks into bibliometric studies in library and information science (LIS) to learn more about the influence of professional collaborations and multidisciplinary publication. It centers on user behaviour, digital libraries, and information management. The study uses bibliometric methodologies to examine authorship trends, geographic distribution, research paper length, and references. The results enhanced comprehension of the importance of library science in academic communities by emphasizing its function in handling intricate problems and promoting information sharing. Data from the Research Review International Journal of Multidisciplinary has been used in the study.

Author Biographies

Dr. Sandhya Pagare, Librarian, CCYM’s Hashu Advani College of Special Education, Mumbai, India. 400074

Dr. Sandhya Pagare is a librarian who did her graduation in History from Mumbai University and a professional qualification in Library and Information Science. She earned her Ph.D. in the area of library and information science from SHPT School of Library Science, SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai. She has served Hashu Advani College of Special Education since 2011, earlier at St. John Institute of Pharmacy & Research, and Pal Ranjedra B. College. She has won many recognitions, including the SALIS Award 2022, and she works as a MLIB guide at YCMOU and paper-setter at SNDT Women’s University. Dr. Pagare has published many papers related to ICT applications in libraries, e-books, and library services for disabled persons. She organized workshops and webinars, delivered lectures on topics connected with library and information science, and so on.

Dr. Shakuntala Nighot, Librarian, St. Teeresa’s Institute of Education, Santacruz (W), Mumbai 400054

Dr. Shakuntala Nighot is graduated with B.Sc.(Maths & Computer Applications) and B.Ed. from University of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She also received MLISc. Ph.D Degree in Library and Information Science from SNDT Women’s University, Maharashtra, India. She has also cleared N.E.T with JRF Eligibility and has multiple academic awards to her credit. Dr. Nighot is a dedicated professional with 20 years of experience in corporate and academic librarianship. She has worked with esteemed institutions like Ernst and Young and has been involved in academia since 2011 at St. Teresa’s Institute of Education. She has developed a certificate course in Electronic Information Literacy and led the STIE-NDLI club to national recognition. Dr. Nighot has organized number of national webinars, authored several research papers, and served as a resource person for workshops on various library-related topics.
