Abstract

The emergence of Vedic mathematics from the ancient to modern era has been proved very precious in mathematics. We have a lot of research in traditional and Vedic mathematics. We know that Vedic mathematics is less time-consuming than traditional mathematics. Hence in this paper, a comparative study of traditional and Vedic mathematics methods has been made to study analytical conics. We have used Paravartya Sutra, Urdhva Triyak Sutra, Adyam Adyena, and Lopana Sthapana Sutra for the study of analytical conics by Vedic methods. The equation of the straight line passing through two points, the equations of two straight lines, the equation of asymptotes, and conjugate hyperbola have been analyzed by both traditional and Vedic mathematics. Further, it is analyzed that the Vedic mathematics methods provide an easy way to deal with analytical conics.
