Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic has brought radical change in almost all the fields, education sector is no exception. Education sector has been experiencing a sea change right from delivering lectures to conducting examinations. Technology has made education available online through different platforms. Though online education programs were made available to public even before COVID-19 pandemic but it got picked up pace only after COVID-19 pandemic. Government and Private educational institutions started offering many online programs. Online education has its own pros and cons. The present study is an effort to bring out the factors affecting the perception and satisfaction on online education. The study found that course content is the most significant and important determinant of satisfaction of online education.

Dr Naresh Eeti Mohan received his Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Mathematics from Sri Venkateswara University, Andhra Pradesh, India. He obtained his Ph.D. Degree in Management Studies from Sri Venkateswara University, Andhra Pradesh, India.  He worked for Bank of America Continuum Solutions, Hyderabad as a Senior Team Member in Global Treasury Services & Operations.  Presently he is serving ABBS School of Management, Bengaluru, India as Professor.  He is a member of Bangalore University Affiliated B-School Directors’/Principals’ Association, MTC Global and NHRD Kolkata Chapter. He is a NSE certified Financial Advisor and holds certifications from National Stock Exchange’s NISM platform. His areas of interest are Operations Management and Stock Markets.

Dr C V, Purushotham, ABBS School of Management, Assistant Professor, PGDM Department, Bangalore & India

Dr C V Purushotham received Masters in Business Administration from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati and also obtained PhD from the same University in Management domain. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at ABBS School of Management, Bangalore. He has 7 years of teaching experience and 4 years of corporate experience in the fields of Financial Reporting & Mutual Fund Accounting. His areas of interest include Financial Management, Investment Appraisal and Management, Securities Trading Strategies & Behavioural Finance. He has got certifications from National Stock Exchange. His work also covers Financial Modelling and Risk Analytics.
