Abstract

The Mandal system, a pivotal administrative and political frame work in Andhra Pradesh has witnessed significant evolution since its inception.  It explores the emergence of Mandal system in the state of Andhra Pradesh, tracing its historical roots, social – political significance, and transformative impacts.  The Mandal system addressed the socio- economic disparities by implementing reservation system for historically disadvantaged communities.  Mandal system become a catalyst for social justice and empowerment.
