Social realism is vividly elaborated in the works of Chaman Nahal. He has made a significant effort to evaluate and explain the social realism in his novels. Partition is the most significant theme of his novels. Nahal brings to light that the impact of partition has clearly been seen on political, cultural, social and educational areas and on the species of human brain. His novels unfold the graphic picture of the Indian society very vividly and realistically.
